The Warehouse Ltd $13 million-dollar expansion of their South Island Distribution Centre in Rolleston, Christchurch increases the capacity of the already impressive structure from 34,000 sqm of floor space to 49,000sqm plus an additional 2000sqm of container truck loading canopy.

Construction Techniques Ltd was engaged as the post tensioning specialist and once again teamed up with Naylor Love providing experience and technical expertise to deliver a quality Post Tensioned floor to match the existing 34,000sqm of PT floors constructed back in 2002.

Using BBR CONA 405 flat anchorages, 67MT of tensioning strand was installed through 21,000LM of flat duct tendons. A total of six large slabs were installed, tensioned and grouted in a 3-month period.
