This FRP design information is provided “in good faith” to assist you with developing an appropriate FRP design. We recommend that you have a reasonable understanding of the properties of FRP and how it will function in the context of the structure you are strengthening. It includes design for FRP Strips (SikaWrap Hex-103 C) and FRP Anchors (SikaWrap FX-50 C).

These details have been developed in accordance with the American Concrete Institute FRP design standard ACI440.2R-17, however with reference to other research papers of the day. More details are available in the PDF, which is free to download.

You will ultimately need to understand and take responsibility for the FRP design and if necessary provide a PS1 covering the FRP, these details have only been developed for guidance and appropriate design checks must be undertaken by the designer to ensure compliance with governing body standards.
