Cardinal Logistics specialises in handling grocery and food related products, consumer goods and pharmaceutical products with a nationwide haulage and distribution network.

In 2015, they commissioned the construction of a new storage warehouse at Waterloo Business Park on the western edge of Christchurch.

This new 14,000m² premises comprised of a canopy area,  warehousing and office building on a 2.65 hectare site, which will be the company’s new main South Island hub.

The 10,000m² warehouse was constructed with a post tensioned slab. This 165mm post tensioned slab on grade was constructed over four concrete pours and designed to support 8 tonne capacity forklifts.
