As part of a new $214M Milk Powder Plant near Glenavy South Canterbury, Main Contractor Ebert Construction Ltd engaged BBR Contech as the preferred specialist to design, supply and install a high-performing post-tensioned floor system for the Dryer area.
Drystore slabs were designed at 150mm thick to accommodate forklift axle and live loads. Constructed in a three pour sequence with a total slab area of 5,357 square metres, we utilised BBR Cona Flat 405 componentry with an average tendon spacing of 2.0m and 20MT of post-tensioned strand.
