Addington Raceway is the home of the NZ Metropolitan Trotting Club which has occupied the present site since 1899.

The venue consists of a trotting track, a greyhound track, conference centre, restaurants and event catering facilities.

The Twiggers Stand is a 3 level office and sports stand and The Metropolitan Stand is a 4 level office and sports stand, both with event catering facilities and constructed of reinforced concrete frames with concrete and masonry block walls.

Following issue of the Earthquake Structural Damage Report for each stand BBR Contech were engaged to undertake epoxy injection and spall repairs to both structures working around scheduled events and tenants relocated from the CBD to Addington Raceway.

Approximately 600LM of cracks were identified for epoxy injection together with 130LM stepping in blockwork to be chased and mortar filled along with miscellaneous concrete spall repairs and panel sealant replacement.
