Gough Gough & Hamer

Gough Gough & Hamer has been the Caterpillar dealer in New Zealand since 1932, offering a wide range of heavy machinery and engines. Engaged by the floor slab subcontractor Conslab Ltd BBR Contech designed, installed, stressed and grouted two post-tensioned slabs on grade for the new GGH Component Rebuild Centre at Branston Street, Hornby.

Heriot Bridge, West Otago

Located on a rural road near the town of Heriot in West Otago the single span concrete bridge required the application of two layers Sikawrap 930G unidirectional glass fibre fabric to each of the two main concrete beams supporting the deck.

Victoria Park Reservoir

The Christchurch City Council’s Water and Waste Unit proposed the replacement of two existing wood-stave water reservoirs located at Elizabeth Park on the Port Hills and servicing the upper hillside properties off Cashmere Hill with a standard 500m³ concrete tank.

Trimble Rebuild, Middleton, Christchurch

While Trimble Navigation’s Christchurch office survived the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes, it wasn’t destined to last for long: in 2011 the entire building was destroyed by fire.
